Ayvalık & the nearest airports

Ayvalık sits on Turkey's northern Aegean coast. There's no airport in town — most guests will fly into one of these and drive the rest of the way. Hover or tap a pin for driving time; the table below has the full detail.

Simplified map, not to scale — dotted lines are driving routes, not straight-line distance. Sabiha Gökçen sits on the Asian mainland already, so it heads straight south via Bursa and Balıkesir; the Istanbul Airport route has to cross the Bosphorus first, then follows the same corridor — the extra crossing is why it's slower despite being the bigger hub.
